Life in Celina

Celina, Texas is a growing community with a population of just over 30,000. Located just minutes from the Dallas North Tollway, residents of Celina can easily get to big city amenities…yet be far away from the noise, traffic and pollution. Life in this small town is relaxed, with an emphasis on family, community and sports. Both the Celina Independent School District and Prosper Independent School District are known for ongoing excellence in athletics and academics.

Local restaurants and small stores are the backbone of Celinas retail, with major upscale shopping and elite dining located only a few miles south or east in Frisco, McKinney and Plano.

Celina sits on the far northern end of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex with all its amenities, including the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, world-renowned art museums, symphonies and performing arts organizations. Dallas is also home to a number of professional sports teams, including the Dallas Cowboys football team, the Dallas Mavericks basketball team, the Texas Rangers baseball team, the Dallas Stars Hockey Team and the FC Dallas soccer team.

With an excellent interstate road system, many city families have made the move to Celina, where the temperatures are three to six degrees cooler than the Metroplex. The home prices are significantly lower and the variety of home and property styles – equestrian properties, ranchettes, expansive multi-acreage properties, estate lots and master-planned neighborhoods appeal to homeowners of all types.

When you live in Celina you are:
Less than 15 minutes from world-class shopping, dining and entertainment
45 minutes from DFW International Airport
20 minutes from Lake Ray Roberts
45 minutes from Lake Texoma and Lake Dallas
